All students are required to read the selection listed below. Each student should also complete the assignment listed below and turn it in on the first day of school. This assignment will count as a reading test grade.

Assignments
Rising 1st-2nd: Draw a picture of your favorite scene from the book. Write a paragraph telling about the scene.
Rising 3rd-5th: Draw a picture of your favorite scene from the book. Write one paragraph describing this scene. Write a second paragraph telling whether you would recommend this book to others and why/why not.
Upper School (6th-12th): Write a one-page typed essay about the book. Give an overview of the book and tell whether you would recommend this book to others and why/why not.
